Their Mission

1) Positive people and animal relationships and placements
2) Offering affordable spay, neuter and vaccination clinics
3) Cooperative rescue efforts
4) Animal welfare education
Their History
An enthusiastic group of animal lovers saw a need for a no-kill safe haven for cats, and Second Chance Animal Rescue was formed to fill a huge void in Littleton and the surrounding area. This 501(c)3 organization was created by caring individuals with over 100 years of combined service in the animal rescue field.
The shelter opened it’s doors in November 2010 and has since found new homes for hundreds of cats and kittens. Our cages are always full and we have a waiting list of needy animals, but we know we’re making a difference in the lives of many people and their pets.
